So recently I’ve been in a reading funk where all I wanted to read was a shape shifter romance, and Jennifer Ashley’s Bodyguard and Primal bonds did not disappoint me. I’ve read Jennifer Ashley books before and I loved them, so it was a no brainer to read another one.

With both of these books I loved the vibes and chemistry between both of these couples.

Bodyguard 

Ronan and Elizabeth are so great together. He is a Kodiak bear shifter that meets Elizabeth at her store when an armed robber try’s to take her life. After he saves her they then realize that the situation is way more serious then they initially thought. The armed robber is the brother of a very dangerous man and he wants for his brother to be free and for Elizabeth to be gone. Ronan takes over the role of bodyguard and the story progresses from there.Loved,loved ,loved this story. The romance was sizzling, and not just from Ronan and Elizabeth but from the secondary characters as well. Elizabeth's sister was a hoot! I found her character to be very entertaining.

Primal Bonds

Sean Morrissey is the Guardian of shifter town. He is a feline shifter and his job as guardian leaves little room for him to claim a mate and really to do anything other than leading the dying shifter souls into the afterlife.Half Shifter and half Fae Andrea Gray is looking for a new place to call home. She had trouble in her old pack and being half fae will not help her get in a new shifter town easily, because shifters hate Fae.  Andrea soon learns that getting the shifters to accept her, isn’t her only problem she has to fight her attraction to Sean all the while trying to figure out why she is having these strange dreams, and who is trying to contact her through these dreams, and why.

I’ve loved every book in this series. The writing is phenomenal and the chemistry between all the characters is great. The only thing I hated about both of these books were that they ended :( but I love that I can still interact with the characters I love in the next book in the series and fall in love with a new couple :D

P.S if you’ve never read a Jennifer Ashley story before the kindle edition of Bodyguard is only one dollar!

Overall, great book.I love a good paranormal/shape-shifter romance :)
